Lifetime Protection for a Smile That Lasts

At FoX Implant Centres, we stand by the quality of our work. That’s why we offer a comprehensive warranty for our dental implant treatments.

We only use high-quality materials in our dental implants, and our comprehensive warranty is a testament to this commitment. Every implant is made with durable titanium and high-grade acrylic components and undergoes precise craftsmanship. Our dental professionals also bring years of experience in implant dentistry to every procedure. And with our advanced in-house laboratory, we maintain complete control over the fabrication process for your prosthesis, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy for every restoration.

FoX’s Implant Warranty Coverage

FoX Implant Centres’ warranty provides extensive coverage for both titanium implants and acrylic components. Here’s a closer look at what’s included in our warranty coverage.

Lifetime Warranty on Titanium Implants

Titanium implants are the backbone of your dental restoration. Titanium’s biocompatibility with the jawbone enhances its strength and stability, ensuring proper osseointegration and lasting support for your dental implants.

At FoX Implant Centres, all titanium implants, frames, and bars are covered by a lifetime warranty. This warranty protects against material defects and craftsmanship issues that could lead to a failed implant.

This lifetime warranty means:

  • Full coverage for any necessary repairs or replacements due to failure or breakage under normal use.
  • No additional costs for replacing defective titanium components.
  • Confidence in the durability and strength of your implant’s titanium foundation.

1-Year Warranty on Acrylic Components

While titanium components are built to last a lifetime, acrylic parts like denture bases and prostheses are subject to more wear and tear. That’s why FoX Implant Centres provide a 1-year warranty period on acrylic components. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials and craftsmanship.
  • Protection against cracks, chips, and breakages caused by normal use.
  • Repairs and replacements within one year of the final placement date.

What’s Not Covered?

While the FoX Implant Centres warranty offers extensive protection, there are some limitations, such as:

1. Damage from Misuse or Accidents

Actions that cause damage outside normal use are not covered. This includes:

  • Biting on hard, non-food objects. This can cause cracks, fractures, or loosening of the implant, compromising its stability and requiring repair or replacement.
  • Accidents or external trauma, such as sports injuries, falls, vehicle collisions, or impact from blunt objects.
  • Damage caused by smoking or drug use. Smoking and certain drugs, including medications for certain medical conditions, can affect bone health and the success rate of dental implants.

2. Poor Oral Hygiene or Missed Check-Ups

Oral hygiene plays a vital role in implant success. If patients fail to maintain proper oral hygiene or miss their routine check-ups, it may void the warranty.

How does this affect coverage?

  • Skipping professional cleanings and check-ups increases the risk of implant issues.
  • Poor oral hygiene can lead to periodontal or gum disease, which may compromise the implant’s stability. Gum disease can weaken the jawbone and increase the likelihood of implant failure.

3. Alterations by Other Dentists

Only dental professionals at FoX Implant Centres can perform alterations on your implant components. Our dental practice follows strict protocols to protect the integrity of your dental treatment. If another dentist makes changes, the warranty becomes void.

Common changes that may void the warranty include:

  • replacing implant components
  • adjusting abutments
  • modifying crowns
  • altering implant placement without proper authorisation from FoX Implant Centres.

This ensures consistent, high-quality care and prevents complications caused by unauthorised modifications, safeguarding your oral health and the success of your implant.

4. Natural Wear and Tear

Daily use can cause gradual wear and surface changes to the acrylic parts of your prosthesis, such as replacement teeth or denture bases. This type of wear is natural and not covered under the warranty. For example:

  • Colour changes or stains due to food and drink.
  • Minor surface wear from chewing.

Since these changes occur over time with normal use, they’re not considered defects.

Limitations of the Warranty

It’s important to understand what the warranty does not cover. The warranty only applies to repairs and replacements of titanium and acrylic components. Here’s what’s not included:

  • Additional Dental Work: If the failure of an implant requires a bone graft or other surgical procedures, these costs are not covered.
  • Travel Costs and Time Off Work: Follow-up visits required for repairs or replacements are part of ongoing care, but travel costs and lost wages are not covered.

Keeping Your Warranty Valid

To maintain warranty coverage, patients must follow specific conditions. These steps help ensure the health and longevity of your dental implants.

1

Routine Maintenance

Regular check-ups are essential. Patients must attend six-monthly professional cleanings and dental check-ups at FoX Implant Centres. These appointments allow our team to detect early signs of potential issues and provide proactive care.

2

Oral Hygiene

Patients are expected to maintain good oral hygiene. This includes using a water pik and following oral care instructions provided after surgery. Proper cleaning prevents plaque build-up and supports overall oral health.

3

Post-Surgery and Long-Term Care

Patients must comply with all post-operative care instructions provided after their surgery. Following these guidelines promotes healing and reduces the risk of implant failure.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your implant or prosthesis qualifies for a warranty claim, follow these simple steps:

Contact FoX Implant Centres: Call to schedule an appointment with our team.
Assessment: Our specialists will examine the implant or component to determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage.
Repair or Replacement: If approved, repairs or replacements will be arranged at no cost for covered components.

If you’re unsure about eligibility, contact FoX Implant Centres for assistance.

Does Getting Other Dental Treatments Void the Warranty?

It depends. If the dental treatment does not cause modification or alterations to the implants, the warranty remains. For instance, getting a root canal that does not directly modify the implants themselves will not void the warranty. But if, for example, you had a porcelain veneer procedure that caused unintentional damage to the implant prosthesis, it can invalidate the warranty.

Can You Get a Refund if the Implant Fails?

No, you can’t get a refund for implant failure. Our warranty only covers repair and replacement if the implant fails due to defects in material or craftsmanship. We will not provide a monetary refund for the original procedure or cover any additional costs, such as the cost of a bone graft if one is now needed for new implant placement.
